As President of Security Pursuit, Mr. Ahlerich is a versatile cybersecurity technologist with over 15 years of industry experience and leadership role expertise in the areas of security solutions development, operations, and consulting services. Jeff possesses a strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity advocacy, a talent for enterprise risk & security assessment, and excels at facilitating practical technology solutions to meet compliance driven and/or security best practice objectives. He has individually performed and/or managed several hundred individual security assessments for banking, financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare, energy, higher education, local, state and federal government clientele.

Ken Ballard

Ken has been in the industry for 20 years, helping clients solve their most difficult cybersecurity challenges. Ken always takes a client-first approach, regardless of the outcome. Living in Colorado for 40 years, graduating from University of Denver, Ken has made Colorado his home and is dedicated to making Colorado organizations more secure.
ROBERT KELSO
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Mr Kelso has over 25 years experience in computer forensics, engineering and software technology. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Robert holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in aerospace engineering and astrodynamics. Robert has testified in both District and Federal court as an expert witness in computer forensics and has been appointed a “special master” by the court. Robert is an adjunct instructor at University of Denver teaching computer forensics at the master’s level. Robert has published numerous articles including “Moving to Secure The Image – Valuable Data May Be Overwritten Forever” published in Law Week August 2007.
Robert holds multiple computer forensics certifications including EnCE, CHFI, ACE, and AME. These certifications emphasize the use of forensics tools, procedures, and analytical techniques necessary to defensibly collect, analyze, and produce electronic information in a court of law. Robert also holds a number of forensics certifications in leading collection and analysis software and tools include ACE, AME, EnCE and more.
Ken White
Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development, Ken manages multiple aspects of Security Pursuit’s growth including, sales, account management and most enjoyably building relationships within the market. For the past 26 years Ken has had the privilege of listening to and serving a wide variety of clients in diverse industries to build technical solutions that uniquely fit their environment. Raised in Colorado, Ken enjoys all that the back country has to offer, spending time with his two sons and forever wondering how he became the shortest of the three.

He is a regular guest instructor in electronic discovery and computer forensics at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Denver’s Regis University, and Arapahoe Community College.
Chris is a former board member of the Westwood College Program Advisory Committee for their degree program. Chris has also developed and overseen our mobile forensics division and uses his considerable knowledge and experience to solve complex issues for our clients. Chris published an article on forensics in divorce cases entitled “Seeking What Your Spouse Hides”, published in Fresh Magazine July 2008.

Brendan O'Connell
Director of Cybersecurity Services
With over 25 years of experience in many facets of computer operations management that provide comprehensive insights into IT aspects on many levels, Mr. O’Connell has held technical and leadership roles in multiple IT disciplines covering enterprise computing, systems administration and security operations; inclusive of infrastructure security and system tools, enterprise resource planning and active directory/exchange.
Today, he oversees and delivers our Security Monitoring / Managed Security Service and our Incident Response Readiness / Cyber Alliance Program.
Mr. O’Connell has worked in both the private and government sector, primarily focused on IT Security for the last 15 years. Having worked at the Department of Homeland Security’s Security Operations Center, he specialized in internal and perimeter network security. Working with Small and Midsized businesses and municipalities as of late, he has been able to apply his administrative and technical knowledge to those organizations to improve on their overall security visibility and posture.
